This #TechnicianTuesday, we’re spotlighting the incredible work of Industrial Air Centers (IAC) as they partnered with a client to resolve a major compressor issue that was disrupting production.
The Challenge:
The client was struggling with two aging compressors—a 75-HP and a 50-HP model—leading to frequent downtime and wet air damage to equipment. When the motor on the larger unit failed, repairs proved more expensive than replacing it.
Our Solution:
IAC worked closely with the customer to provide a reliable, cost-effective solution.
Highlights include:
- Recommending and installing a Kaishan KRSD 125-HP direct drive compressor with variable-speed drive, ensuring reliable operation.
- Completing the setup, testing, and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks with precision.
Customer Appreciation:
The customer was thrilled with the results and shared their appreciation for the IAC team: “They did an awesome job setting everything up, running it and doing our PMs. And it was perfect. The install guys, they do amazing work.”
The success of this project led the client to partner with IAC again for a similar compressor package when they built a new plant.
